4 week agoThe entire team at Spotlight Karaoke made my Christmas party truly unforgettable. Brittany was incredible from the start—so patient and helpful throughout the entire booking process. She answered all 6,425 of my questions () and made me feel completely confident choosing this space. They are a family-run business in Houston for over 20 years, and you can genuinely feel the heart behind everything they do. Theresa was wonderful and took the time to walk me through the room beforehand so I felt fully prepared before the day of my party. The night of the party was amazing. MJ was our host (pictured here) and was absolutely fantastic—fast, friendly, high-energy, and kept up with over 20 people effortlessly. The service and warmth from the entire team stood out so much. Several guests were first-timers and everyone loved it. I’m so grateful to the Spotlight team for making my party such a success. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend them for any celebration. Thank you for such a special night

1 month agoI came here last weekend and booked a private room for my birthday and the booking to party process was so easy. Our server MJ was the best! The drinks are good and the atmosphere was amazing, i highly recommend getting a private room. I’ll be back soon!

1 month agoWe celebrated my mom’s 60th birthday at Spotlight Karaoke and had the best time! We rented a private room for our group and it was perfect—clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. The karaoke system was easy to use with tons of song options, and the staff was super helpful and friendly throughout the night. It made the celebration feel fun, relaxed, and really special. Highly recommend for birthdays or any group event.

1 month agoRented a private room to celebrate my 30th birthday! It was a blast. Huge song selection, very attentive wait staff, and clean space. The room we were in was well sound proofed, so we weren’t put off by all of the loud music outside our room. If you’re booking a private room, I recommend planning at least two weeks out! They get busy on Saturdays.

2 month agoI recently had a birthday party for my wife this past Friday. The two owners were very accommodating with my needs. Even when there was a mix up in communication between the three parties we got it worked out smoothly. The waitress was a little spread thin because she had our room and another large group but even with that she made sure to keep checking on us which was appreciated. Private room was 3 was supposed to be able to hold 30 to 40 people. I’m not sure how comfortable that would be with that amount in that space. I had about 14 people there and the room was comfortable. If we had 30 it probably wouldn’t have been though. Gratuity is included and with the room you have a minimum drink requirement. Overall, it was a good experience. My only critique was the voice overs with the songs were not very good. I would’ve appreciated an option to just have the words and no voice guide.

3 month agoWe visited Spotlight for our Christmas party. From the first point of contact with Brittany, everything ran smoothly. She responded immediately with any questions I had. When we arrived, MJ was assigned to our room. She was extremely personable and attentive. We really enjoyed ourselves and plan on returning.

4 month agoWe rented a room for my mother’s 50th birthday and had a blast! Great service—our waitress, Christina, was so nice and helpful and made sure our party went off without a hitch. We had outside catering for the food, so we’re not sure how that was, but the drinks were really good. Highly recommend! I’m even considering doing it again with my cousins for a cousins’ night out.

4 month agoWanted to try something fun in the city. Came in on Saturday night and we had a blast. We utilized the private room and it was just perfect for what we needed. We were allowed to decorate the room too our liking, and bring in outside food. The private space and the easy access to get through the song catalog was great, being that I’m not so tech savvy. It was well worth the price. Now they do have a drink minimum, however if your family is like mine that shouldn’t be a problem.
